Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales (CNES) (the French government’s space agency) engineer Jean-Jacques Velasco was working on the development of French satellites when he became involved with GEPAN, the new agency studying unidentified aerospace phenomena, the year it was founded (by Yves Sillard), 1977.

From 1983 to 2004, Velasco was the director of the French programme (GEPAN and SEPRA) that investigated and analysed unidentified aerospace phenomena.

“Farmer sees UFO 1968 Ohio”
(not the article’s headline)

7 May 1968
(Prince George Citizen, Canada)

Source: ufonewspaper.blogspot.com

The whole article:
“A herd of cows in the south Ohio (South Ohio, Nova Scotia, Canada) farming area near Yarmouth led to one of the strangest sightings.

Chasing several strays that had wandered away, a farmer and his neighbor were suddenly confronted with a bright, stationary object about 1,000 feet from the ground. They later described the glow ‘like a flood-light’ coming straight down from the strange craft. The two men watched as the object moved away and the light disappeared.”

UFO Article/U.S. Air Force Base Presentation:
“Subject: Carswell AFB, Texas,
UFO/Nuclear Connection”

By Daniel Wilson, 8 September 2005

(NICAP.org)

Text by Daniel Wilson:
“There is a possible nuclear connection with sightings in and around the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, area due to the proximity to Carswell AFB, a SAC Base, flying B-29, B-50, and B-36 bombers, whose mission was to wage nuclear war on the USSR.  Carswell AFB is approximately 120 miles north of Fort Hood/Killeen Base area and there may have been many nuclear weapon transfers between the two locations. Also, Texas had probably the most Air Force Bases of any state (around 22 bases in the 1940-1950 range).”

The whole UFO case report:
Richard Hall:
Features: Aerial encounter, Air Force interceptor ‘cat-and-mouse’ UFO pursuit, partial radar confirmation, evidence of official cover-up.

A.A. and J.R., Air Force interceptor pilots (now United Air Lines pilots), were flying F-86’s near Modesto, California, on alert duty due to civilian UFO reports in a nearby town. As they were vectored toward the town, a call came instructing them to return to the base because a UFO was visible from the control tower. Turning on the afterburners, they closed rapidly on a luminous elliptical object that alternately moved above and below a cloud cover at 10,000 to 12,000 feet as if to elude them. The pilots positioned themselves one above and one below the clouds and took turns chasing the UFO as it emerged on their side of the clouds.

During the chase they saw the UFO from various angles, sometimes closing to within an estimated few hundred yards before it accelerated away from them again. In plan form, the UFO appeared circular. Ground radar at Madera was tracking the F-86’s, but not the UFO. Both pilots got transient returns from their airborne radars, but were puzzled by the curious way in which they lost the echo almost as soon as they picked it up.

Running low on fuel, A. A. started descending to land. When he looked back up and saw that the UFO was now following his wing mate, he elected to go back up despite his fuel situation. Then the UFO shot off and disappeared in the distance terminating the sighting. The pilots were debriefed by several officers flown in from another base who seemed to be seeking ‘confirmation not information,’ as if they knew just what they wanted to find out. The pilots were told not to discuss the sighting with each other, nor to make any kind of statement about it. Local citizens, who had seen the UFO and heard the roaring jets, were told that the pilots had been chasing ducks or geese.

Special significance: Numerous cases are known to the author in which military witnesses were debriefed by officers who displayed detailed knowledge of UFOs and sometimes carried notebooks of UFO photographs and drawings for identification purposes.”

Brad Sparks:
May 2, 1957. Edwards AFB, Calif. (BBU 4715)
6:55-7:20 a.m. (PDT). James D. Bittick and John R. Gettys, Jr., civilian phototheodolite operators, were driving by truck to Askania Site #4 when they sighted an object above them about 500 yards away. They radioed a report to their supervisor Frank Baker who told them to set up the camera and try to film the object, which they did after about 10 mins. They photographed what they described as a golden luminous domed-saucer shaped object with holes or ports around the dome about 100 ft in diameter about 1 mile in the distance to the N headed E (photos show multiple? objects). (My emphasis) Available phototheodolite frames 614, 620 and 651 (609 too blurred, cutoff) show azimuth 10°28' elevation 2°24' shifting E to azimuth 40°30' elevation 1°0'. Disappeared at about 5 miles. Possible jet fighter interception. [Possible weather balloon with slow leak, explanation denied by Edwards AFB Colonel Klein (sp?) analyzing actual tracking of balloon and wind direction.] (My emphasis) (Tom Tulien; Jan Aldrich; McDonald 1968 pp. 75, 85; Loren Gross Mar-May 1957 pp. 67-68; IUR Oct 2005) 25 mins 2 witnesses 8 Full Moons? photo-theodolite

Fran Ridge:
This is McDonald case #41 and BB case # 4715. The implications of what Cooper has said on camera is very interesting, if true (See YouTubes below). In 1957, when Cooper was 30 and a captain, he was assigned to Fighter Section of the Experimental Flight Test Engineering Division at Edwards Air Force Base in California. He acted as a test pilot and project manager. But nowhere in the documentation below is Cooper mentioned, so therefore we must assume this was another case.  (Cooper’s report).

Mike Swords:
The issue is that Max Miller wrote [at the time] that the case occurred on May 3rd. Later one of the witnesses told McDonald that it occurred on May 3rd. [even drew him a picture of the UFO with the May 3rd date labeling it]. Then McDonald, who had correspondence wherein he said ‘May 3rd,’  went to the Project Blue Book files and said that the official documents there said May 2nd. *”

News Article:
“Cattle mutilations back”

1 March 2002
(Great Falls Tribune, Montana)

The article reports on several 2001 Montana cattle mutilation incidents.

Four of the cattle mutilation incidents are reported on in detail. All these mutilations occurred in the area between the towns of Dupuyer, Valier and Conrad (Pondera County).

The following farmers/ranchers experienced cattle mutilations: Glen and Ruby Bouma, Conrad area farm, late October 2001; Everett King, Valier area ranch, October 2001; New Miamy Colony, located 29 kilometres (18 miles west) of Conrad, October 2001; Jim VandenBos, Valier area ranch, September 2001.

Quote from the article:
“Ranchers reported four mutilations between June and August (2001). Since then, there have been 11 more, and investigators are still searching for answers.

The mutilations went away on the ‘90s but began again this summer.

Also strange is that in most cases, no tracks or footprints were detected around the animals’ bodies, even in mud or snow.”
